We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your BabyDay account and all associated information, please follow the steps below.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request the deletion of your BabyDay account and all associated data, please send an email to our support team. We do not currently offer in-app self-deletion — all requests are handled directly by our team to ensure your data is removed completely and securely.

Steps to follow:

Use the email linked to your BabyDay account

The deletion request must be sent from the same email address that is registered with your BabyDay account. Requests from unrecognised email addresses cannot be processed for security reasons.

Send an email to our support team

Compose an email to support@babyday.co with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".

Include the following in your email

  • Your full name as registered on BabyDay
  • Confirmation that you want your account permanently deleted
  • Any additional context (optional)

Wait for confirmation

Our team will acknowledge your request within 2–3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving it.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon successful processing of your deletion request, the following data associated with your BabyDay account will be permanently deleted:

Your account profile (name, email, phone number)
Baby profiles and all associated health records
Growth tracking data and measurements
Vaccination and milestone records
Doctor and appointment information
App preferences and settings
Uploaded photos and media
All activity history and logs

Data Retention & What May Be Kept

In some circumstances, we are required by law or legitimate business necessity to retain certain data for a limited period even after account deletion:

Transaction Records

Records of any payments or subscriptions may be retained for up to 7 years for accounting and tax compliance purposes.

Anonymised Analytics

Aggregated, fully anonymised usage data (not linked to you or your account) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

Legal Obligations

If we are required to preserve data due to a legal claim, regulatory inquiry, or court order, the relevant data will be retained until the obligation is resolved.

Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your baby's health records, growth data, and any premium subscription benefits. We strongly recommend exporting or noting down any important data before submitting your request.
